- How to book a Houseboat?
- Share your arrival date, number of bedrooms opting, number of adults and children in your group, day cruise or overnight stay etc through the “Contact” /“Reservation” page on our website or WhatsApp these details. We will revert back with all the information at the earliest.
- How do I confirm the booking?
- Booking confirmation against 25% advance payment. During peak dates, confirmation against 50% advance payment.
- How Blue Lotus Houseboat differ from other companies?
- Blue Lotus Houseboat is a marketing platform of a group of houseboat owners. Since there will be no third party involvement we can offer best rate.
- Are the Check in and Check out time is fixed?
- Normal check-in time is 11.30 am and check out time is 9.00 am. Late Check-in and Early Check-out is possible as per your travel plans.
- Are there any activities we can enjoy post docking in the evening?
- Post docking in the evening, guests can go for village walk, visit to temples, churches, paddy fields etc. Fishing is also possible.
- Is houseboats safe?
- The houseboats are completely safe for families, couples and even, solo travellers. The houseboats crew are always available for the guests for any help. Guests can enjoy complete privacy and security during their stay. The houseboats carry safety equipment such as life-jackets, fire-extinguishers, etc.
- Is advance booking necessary?
- Yes..to avoid unavailability, price variation, delay in cruise advance booking is necessary. On arrival while you search for houseboat, you may deal with unauthorised persons results in high rate and compromising in the service and quality of the houseboat.
- What type of cruises are available?
- Overnight stay, day trip & night stay available
- Is a parking facility available?
- Yes, there is government authorised prepaid parking area available near the boat boarding point.
- How many kilometres it will cover?
- is not based on kilometres. It’s covering sightseeing areas.
- Is it exclusive houseboat or sharing?
- We provide exclusive houseboats only.
- Are the Check in and Check out time is fixed?
- Normal check-in time is 11.30 am and check out time is 9.00am. Late Check-in and Early Check-out is possible as per your travel plans.
- Do you arrange airport transfers?
- We will arrange airport transfers and also pick- up and drop off to any destination within Kerala.
- What are the menu available?
- Pure Vegetarian, Non-vegetarian, Jain Food available as per the prior information. Special dishes can be served according to the prior information and it is chargeable and depends on availability.
- Do you serve alcoholic drinks?
- You can bring your own alcoholic drinks with bill from a Government authorised shop.
- Are we get the same houseboat shown in the photos?
- Yes..we will provide exactly the same houseboat shown in the photos. As part of maintenance, may be the furniture/household equipment were changed or relocated.
